Klaviyo. This page is ready
Send wholesale customer data and lifecycle events to Klaviyo so you can build segments and flows.
Most of these events are transactional — an applicant asked you for a wholesale account, so telling them it was received, approved or declined is a service message, not marketing. In Klaviyo, mark those flow messages as transactional and they send regardless of subscription status. Only metric-triggered flows can be marked that way, which is exactly what these are.
Two exceptions are promotional rather than transactional, and do need marketing consent: Wholesale Membership Expiring and Wholesale Membership Expired, when used as renewal or win-back nudges.
Segmenting doesn't involve consent at all — adding wholesale properties to a profile so you can exclude those buyers from retail campaigns works no matter what they're subscribed to.
One thing to watch when writing these: an applicant's first name isn't guaranteed. Only their email and phone are required on an application, so a greeting built on {{ person.first_name }} can come out blank. Either give it a fallback, or turn on “Auto-create customer from form submission” in Settings so names reach Klaviyo reliably.
